Remember...

I feel so lucky today but not happy. The alpha delta pi chapter at the university of west florida lost two girls to a car accident a month ago, and now this past week they lost another sister. I feel so sorry for them as a chapter and hope they use eachother and try to think of the good things to make it through this time. I know in my chapter we had a girl hurt in a car accident over spring break, but we were luck enough to have her still come back to us. Hearing this happen really does make me cherish my sorority sisters even more. I hope everyone remembers to cherish what they have now, because it may not last.

Remember your alpha delt girls
Remember when your away
Remember she's all you wished for
and true to you she'll always stay
Remember the small black diamond
with pearls for friendships true
Her memories will live forever
it is an alpha delt for you

I don't mean to butt into your forum but I go to UWF. I was actually pretty close friends with the two girls that died about a month ago. This has been a very difficult time for our school and our greek system as we have a pretty small greek system so we are all pretty close. This tragedy has brought everyone so close and has made us all treasure each other so much more. And I found out about the third girl that died this morning and my heart and prayers have been with the ladies at zeta epsilon throughout. It makes me very proud to be a greek woman to see how close we have all become and have supported each other through everything regardless of the letters we wear.
