Convention Speakers?

I'm curious as to who other GLO's have as speakers at their conventions? Also, what famous and/or interesting people have you heard at recent conventions?

As a Pike, I am very fortunate to be part of a organization that has many very successful and loyal alumnus members. But more importantly, these successful men have given back to the fraternity by speaking at conventions.

For instance, at my first Pike convention, I got to listen Dr. Steven Covey speak for 2 hours. In 2000, it was Joe Ford (CEO of Alltel) and Charles Holliday (CEO of DuPont). Pat Bowlen (Owner of Denver Broncos) couldn't be there because his private plane broke down! In 2001, I got to meet and interact with Jeff Taylor (Founder of Monster.com).

This summer, Tim McGraw is scheduled to come to our convention...plus who knows who else!

Who have you been able to hear at your conventions?

I think that was the name of the company that was at the Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity's Atlanta convention last summer. The topic was "Confronting the idiot in your life" and was terrific.
