Does your Org's national website do this?

Was surfing over to www.betathetapi.org today and I was surprised to find one of the guys in my house right on the front of the site...It was really cool to see him up there as he's developed into a mentor for me, and really I don't think that I would have become friends had it not been for Beta. It got me thinking how cool it is that our National G F recognizes a "Beta of the Week".

So my question is does your National do a similar type of recognition for outstanding brother/sisters of your Org?

Nope. But it's a fine idea!

Our website doesn't do a member of the week/month, but every so often we have "In the Spotlight" and sometimes members are featured for the things they have done.

Unfortunately, I haven't been recognized yet...having your mug on the intro movie doesn't really count, but I'll make it someday!

Re: Does your Org's national website do this?

Geoff,

The Beta website has been doing that ever since I can remember. The greatest thing about it is, anyone can nominate a brother, including non-Betas. So, any of you greeks out there that know of a Beta who is doing great things on your campus, I encourage you to nominate him. This is a great reward for a brother who has devoted himself to Beta Theta Pi.

Yep, and our magazine has a Collegiate Spotlight section and sometimes an Alumnae one.

Hootie...he's from Mullen NE. He has 93 county tags, so it's very small town!
