Six Feet Under??

Does anyone watch the show on HBO called Six Feet Under?? It's about a family who owns a funeral home and their lives. It's one f the most unique showes I've ever watched. I love it!!

I *love* that show! Every Sunday at 9, I'm tuned in.

Btw...the guy that used to be the daughter's boyfriend is on some commerical now. (Their names are escaping me...) Have you seen it? Is he (the boyfriend) totally gone? I liked that storyline a lot!

I'm not sure if the boyfriend story is still going. I used to watch the guy who plays Nate on the show Sport's Night. He's done alot of work if you look around.

Six Feet Under is one of my favorite shows! It's so great. It's twisted, but not as much as you think, considering that they own a funeral home. The guy who played Claire's boyfriend is in Can't Hardly Wait...he plays the stoner who made the brownies. Strangely enough, he licks Claire's head in that movie, and Rico plays one of the guys who refuses to break up with his girlfriend. I know that he's had bigger roles, but I can't think of any of the top of my head.

Ok...what does everyone think: Should Nate be with his bride-to-be or break it off? My feeling is this: *putting on amatuer psychologist hat* Mental illness runs in the family. She has whatever her brother has.

She's just so.....shady. It makes me feel bad. Nate is so cute!

I watch this show after the Sopranos. I have only seen a few episodes, but so far I like it.

Six Feet Under and Sex and the City are the only two shows that I watch religiously. What would I do without HBO?

I love SFU! But I don't think this season has lived up to last season. I say less Brenda acting like a nut and more talking dead people (loved the one last season with the gang member).

And, I know this is totally morbid (well, it is a show about death), but haven't the deaths been really boring this season? Hello, I'm a lonely woman and I choked on some chicken. Dead. Hello, I'm a sonofabeeyatch who beats my wife, and I fell off a boat in my drunken stupor and got sliced in half by a propellor (Ok, kind of interesting), Hello, I'm an old dude who died of natural causes on a tour bus. Remember last season--they lady who got her head smashed when she stuck her head out the top of the limo & she smashed into the Cherry Picker? That was interesting.

I miss the commercials for the funeral home products too. The show has gone from quirky/dark to just dark. Don't get me wrong, though. I still love the show-and enjoy watching for those "OMG! Did they really just do that on TV" moments, I just wish they would quit focusing on Brenda so much and move on...would like to see Nate & the Kroner woman get together. How bizarre would that be?

I've missed the show for the last 3 weeks though, thanks to papers & finals. THis weekend will be a TIVO SFU marathon for me.

I really don't like Brenda. I think that she has some real issues that she needs to deal with before marrying Nate. Actually, I think that Nate should break it off with her and get with the girl from Seattle.

I'm a huge fan of Six Feet Under. Rumor has it that Brenda is going to get pregnant and that it may not be Nate's. He's way too good for her.

SFU is GREAT! I am worried about David though. It looks like Keith is about to go berserk and he could be on the receiving end.

And, poor Claire...

O.K., I just started watching and I want to know...What's up with the gay brother and the cop (who I guess also is a gay brutha ) I mean, not only is it a gay relationship, it's also got that "jungle fever" thang going on. How did they hook up, and what's happening to them?

I love this show. I'm hoping that they will come out with a box set of the episodes, on either VHS or DVD. It's something I'd buy in a second. I can watch these things over and over. One of my favorite episodes from first season is where Nate come back, and is trying to find out what his father traded those free funerals for.

Unfortunatly, I've only caught the first two episodes from this season so far, so I've got catching up to do.

Who'se your favorite character on the show?
(regular, and one-time).

From the first season, I got lots of entertainment from the old man whose wife died in her sleep. his attitude and some of the things he said I found really entertaining.

M.
