Heather, thanks for sharing with us.
IMHO--don't bid on this one, folks. According to the listing, it's the seller's own badge. Why people can't do the right thing with their badge when and if they don't need it anymore is beyond me (notice I'm trying not to speculate why she'd be selling her own badge yet!)
If you have any questions, PM me. But please, don't bid on it.
Roses,
Christin

i cant believe she would sell her badge!!!! first of all, it's her _badge_ and second, its not hers, it belongs to AOII, and it should go back to AOII! chances are a badge collector will buy it, not another sister, and then a non-sister will be in possession of such an importent AOII thing.... ::sigh::

Nope, not even going to bid on that one...

It'd be one thing if it just said "Alpha Omicron Pi." When they add that "sorority" to our name, it's just silly. You'd think they'd do a little bit of research first, because there's plenty of us sororities that are really fraternities
Hee hee!

That is, quite honestly, the funniest thing I've seen all day (it's been a BAD day!) Thanks for the laugh, my sister!

I lost my badge on an airplane coming back from Indiana. It was in a black jewelry case which came out of my bag. If anyone ever spots an AOPi pin on ebay with the initials HJL let me know!!!I am working on ordering a new one...I am so sad

rosejoy, I'm so sorry you lost your badge! You may want to set an auction watch at ebay for our badges. That way, you get an email whenever an auction comes up. If your badge would ever be put up there, you'd be able to catch it quicky.
Good luck replacing it. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost mine.
Roses,
Christin

That could actually be a good thing since no one will probably bid without knowing if it is actually a badge or not. I recall seeing an AOII 'Sorority' pin listed that was basically the letters horizontal wiht rhinestones! It is always sad to see our letters out there for anyone to buy - especially a badge - but I'm VERY thankful that our badges are not out there too often.
Thanks for letting us know!
