Real World News....
I heard on the radio this morning that Steven from Real World Seattle was picked up yesterday for offering 'man sex' (male-prostitution) to an undercover male police officer.
So, the 'slap-heard-around-the-world' when he bitch-slapped Irene, was NOT well deserved.....he is gay. I bet he feels like a real idiot now.
Anyone else hear this?

I heard about that when I was driving to school early this morning. I was half way asleep so I wasn't sure that I heard that right. I'm sure that this news made Irene's day!

Please...
Steven being gay ranks right up there with Rosie and Ellen coming out on national TV I mean, I'm not gay, but even I could tell that the boy was out there on the show! (not that there's anything WRONG with that, to quote Jerry Seinfeld from one of the funniest Seinfeld episodes ever!) It is poetic justice for Irene, though...By the way, what ever happened to that Lindsay girl? She was a hottie, and I liked her voice. I think that she was Greek at the University of Michigan. Does anyone know?

I didn't hear this news about Steven. I do remember watching that episode where he slapped Irene. I thought that she hit the nail on the head, and then he hit Irene. I was surprised when they didn't boot him out of the RW house.

Lindsay is on a morning radio show in Atlanta called the Burt Show. I've seen her around a couple of times. She has the most distinctive voice. She looks really different now. She is much tinier than I expected and she has really long blonde hair.

Thanks! Her voice is distinctive, isn't it? It is very sexy in a Kathleen Turner in "Body Heat" kind of way...

I also saw Lindsay on CNN. I think she was doing some entertainment reporting.

I'm a little late in keeping up with these posts, but I hadn't heard this news. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't one of the reasons Steven slapped Irene because as she was leaving she sarcastically said something to the effect of they could never be married because he was homosexual? I didn't realize the irony...

I don't remember Irene's exact words but it was something to the effect of "You'll never be married because you're a homosexual."

I don't think her voice is cute at all. She sounds like a grizzled, chain-smoking truck driver to me!

I don't mean to throw a wet blanket, but the reference to these shows being "real world" is kinda funny. These peeps are put into an "all expenses paid" situation and then filmed interacting like they're on some kind of extended "downtown" spring break.

You just have to take them for what they are - entertainment. After all, Survivor isn't really a fitting title for that show if you think about it. Anyone who is hurt is immediately airlifted to a hospital, and until this season, the survivors were supplied with some food. No too hard to "survive" with those aids, huh?
But, I enjoy watching them all - it's my voyeuristic side!
