Angry Frustarated and Mad

I signed up for fraternal news awhile ago and I no longer want it. I wrote the proper yahoo group more than once over a month ago and a few weeks ago, but i still get email from them. I get rude emails telling me that maybe i should read where it says to unsubscribe- I do and i have written them. A lady told me she didn't see me on their list and didn't know how I was getting the fraternal news. I have it sent to my compuserve address and there is nothing that lets me block mail. If it did than i would just block it instead of worrying about unsubscribing. I can't even return the mail to the sender. I don't want it because it just takes up space in my mailbox.
Anyone else having problems with fraternal news?

Try sending an email to: fraternalnews-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com and that should take care of it. Make sure you're sending the email from the account that is subscribed to the group. I've worked with other YahooGroups and it may take a day or two, but that should work!

You can also email the owner of the group at: fraternalnews-owner@yahoogroups.com

If you're looking for GLO news from all over, go to www.findarticles.com. For example, I typed "sorority" as the search term, and the first screen of many results included the following uplifting articles:

"Black sorority boom: ninety years after the first group was founded, membership and enthusiasm are thriving. "

"It's Greek to them.(investment clubs of people from the same fraternity and sorority continue for many years)"

"Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Holds Convention In Chicago; Elects New President."

Of course, this was a broad search. The website includes a "Search Tips" area that lists ways to narrow down your criteria.

Best of luck! Good news is out there!
