Can a sista/brotha get a band-aid?

Forgive me for venting...

Is it just me, or does the band-aid industry blatantly discriminate against ALL people who's skin color isn't PEACH or LIGHT TAN? Even the so-called "clear" ones have that white/light center patch. I don't know 'bout you, but that's still too light for the palms of my hands. What's up with that?!?!? I guess a mocha sista like me just can't conceal her boo-boos at all, huh? The whole world has to know my business. We need to petition for some realistic, multi-cultural colored band-aids. To my Arabian and Native American brothers and sisters--this means you, too! It's racist, y'all! That's all I'm sayin!

I saw a commerical the other day for a brand aid that's more like a protective seal over the cut. It looks like some type of wax or something. It is clear. I don't know how well it works.
