Another favorite
Not to be sexist, but ladies, what do you find to be the best razor? I'm having issues with the two I have and with tank top season approaching need some input.

I used to be a loyal user of Daisy razors but I when I switched over to Gillette's Venus, I loved it even better. Basicly, it's the female version of the Mach 3. I recently upgraded Brandon to the Turbo Mach 3 lol.

Maybe I'm just an idiot then (entirely a possibility) but I don't feel that the Venus gives me any kind of a close shave at all. What are you all doing that I'm not?

i totally agree with you karen - i hate those damn razors that have the blades that come off... maybe i'm not using them right, but i'll stick to my pink easy to use razors
i've been told that you get a closer shave if you don't shave as soon as you get in the shower, but you let the water soften/penetrate the hair folicales (is that a word?)

I heard that there is some sort of new lotion that makes the hair thinning or fall out.

I use venus but i agree that the refills are expensive. I like venus the best out of all the ones i have tried, but i dont have a favorite.
What about shaving cream, i dont remember the one i have, i think its like gillette in peaches. Anyway, i hardly use it because i dont see or feel a difference, as a matter of fact, i feel that if i do use it, i dont get a close enough shave.

Until I can afford lazer surgery for it all, I like the Mach 3 as well, but it is really sharp and I always cut myself the first time I use a new blade...clumsy I guess!

I use shaving cream for my legs but not my arms - and I buy the guys, because I'm not going to pay extra for a pretty girl scent.
I find that brand of razor doesn't make a whole lot of difference as long as you don't do what I did last time and be cheap and buy the single blades! Gotta have at least two!

For all those Venus users out there- I have heard that after shaving for a while with the venus, you have less hair growing back, so you get to shave less. Have you found this to be true? I really want to try it, but it's so expenzive, I'm still sticking with my little Gillete Exel...I've never heard of anyone using the Mach 3 until now either.. is it really that good?
