Junior Circles
Since I just went alum I was wondering, are there any jc's in Kentucky"? I have looked in the quarterly and directory that I have and neither of them say anything about it.

Lexington
I checked into the one here in Lexington, I wasn't able to attend the gathering they were having because of finals. I am wanting to get more information about it.
What all is in the alum packets? I didn't receive one, and was wondering if there is away to get one sent to me?
Sara, I know that there are alumnae in the Louisville area because I have run into them, why not start one there?

Check with IHQ
The contact women for Junior Circles change often. It is best to check with IHQ (Deanna) to see if there is an active Junior Circle in your area.

According to the IHQ website, there are two:
Fulton, KY, Junior Circle
Lexington Junior Circle
However, just because IHQ thinks that there is a JC in the area, doesn't mean it's active. There's supposed to be one here in Ypsi, MI but there really isn't.

I know that there was a visit to the Toledo Alumnae Club recently to help it revitalize themselves. I'm sure they'd love to get some fresh blood with great ideas and enthusiasm!

Well I guess I will just join the alumnae chapter here in Louisville. I just hoped that maybe there was a junior circle here. I would try to start one, but I really don't have the time to do that. I am taking twelve hours this summer and trying to find a job and keeping up with my boyfriend!!! Needless to say! I do appreciate all of you helping me out though!
The Alum packet I got was a little red trifold with our crest on the front and it had information and contacts for alum things and questionairres about what AGD means to me and so on and so forth. It has something in there reminding you that AGD is for life, not college and to hold true to the ideals of Alpha, Gamma and Delta. That kind of thing. THere is also a window decal saying AGD alum with roses. It is really nice. My brother's fiancee is a Phi Mu alum now too and she said that she didn't even get to do a senior sendoff type deal and she didn't get anything recognizing her alum status, not even a ceremony. We had a rededication ceremony at IRD that only those going alum were allowed to be at. The Alumnae Club held it for us.
Well Love you all but must be going!

Sarah,
Have you thought about starting a JC in your area? I did it in Omaha. Its not too tough to do!
If you are interested you can always contact the chairman. She is on the HQ site!
