Siblings pledging different organizations??

Hi everyone,
I was wondering...have you ever experienced siblings pledging different organizations? By that I do mean same sex obviously. If you have what are your general thoughts about such a situation? Is it common? Are siblings expected to follow in the footsteps of their sibling? Is anyone against it...if so why? I'm just curious...

Alpha is not for everyone. We want the best and not necessarily the best's brother.

Why was this posted in all the BGLO forums? Once was enough.

Well, it's not cool policy. Many of us visit each other's forums, so there's no need to post in every D_9 room.

And to the question, I've known of sorors who have sisters in other NPHC organizations. My sister doesn't have a degree, so this is not my case. My mother is an AKA and my aunt is a Delta, so it happens.

Unhappy uuummm.......

I was unaware and so therefore I do apologize. I'm new to the site and was overwhelmed by the many forums and thought it the best idea to post on as many as possible since this subject was scarce overall. I will not do it again.

I have two sons and I hope that when they get to college that they pledge different organizations. I can see one as an Alpha and the other as an Omega but they need to do what is best for them.
