JCs nationwide to meet in Vegas?

I was at the National JC message board when this suggestion for a regional JC meeting came up, I thought it was so great that I thought I'd post it to this one as a suggestion for a National JC meeting.

I think organizing a nationwide Junior Circle Vegas trip would be an outstanding way for us JCers to unite (and have funfunfun!), especially if we can set aside a little time to dicuss/implement more of a structure to JC than what IHQ has set up. I think then it'll be easier for other JCs to get established. Right now we all kinda have to fly by the seat of our pants without much support.

Perhaps we can set up an annual JC trip to begin next Spring? It'd be a great way to set up our involvement in Convention 2004, set the direction for strengthening the Junior Circle role within the fraternity, and just have a darn good ole time with the sistahs.

What do ya think...Vegas baby...

LIEP,
Amy

Clarification

Hello!
Who knew that my first visit on GreekChat would result in me seeing my name listed on a post. I would like to clarify what has been listed above...

**Thanks for making the edit to your post**
No further discussion needs to happen on this subject.

I know this is a site where many Alpha Gams chat and share experiences but please make sure when you mention sisters names you ask them first.

Thanks again!

Loyally,
Wendi

Sometimes in our excitement, we forget that this is a public forum that anyone can read.

Just a reminder that we should be discreet in discussing Fraternity affairs.

I'm sorry I got carried away with an idea that I thought was great on another board (I didn't want to take credit for it so I gave credit where it was due). In no way was I suggesting that this would be an "official" Alpha Gamma Delta function, but merely opening the level of communication to more than just regional JCs. I'm relatively new being back in AGD, so please forgive my forgetfulness of all the restrictions. Thanks.

LIEP,
Amy

The idea sounds good. My only objection would be that I think it would take away from Convention . Its not cheap to go on trips like that and I dont know if I would be willing to spend two vacations like that.???? Just something to think about when planning.

I see and hear about special Vegas packages all the time, and a lot of them are very reasonable! The only problem would be how much time you'd spend at the casinos... If people are truly interested in this, maybe we can start looking around to see what we can afford.

I'm all for it!
