Legacy Pins???
I just gave birth to my second daughter.... yeah, two legacies!!! I know that my group has a mother's pin and a father's pin but nothing for legacies.
Do any other organizations have something special and official for their legacies - something that could be given to a child or teenager to show how special both they (the child) and the organization are to the parent? Maybe a pin, bracelet, or something else? Of course, should either (or both) my daugters become initiated members of my group, I will pass my badge down the line.

I know that Delta Zeta has baby items and child clothing items that have things like "Delta Zeta Legacy" written on them, however I don't think that we have any particular jewelry for legacies.

You can buy baby stuff for AXD babies, like bibs and whatnot, but there isn't any special official jewelry.

Actually, we do! I only recently found out about it when I received a DZ jewelry catalog. It's called a Daughter-Granddaughter Pendant and it's a gold lamp in an open heart. It's very pretty; I'd like to get one for each of my girls when they get older.

Awesome, Tracy! Thanks for letting me know! I've got several of my chapter pledge sisters who are pregnant right now. I'll be sure to tell them about the pendant.

That's great to hear. I had thought about designing something for Alpha Xi Delta and presenting it to National Council to see if they would approve it but I wanted to see if anyone else had something like that as an example.

That would be very cool. I'd get something like that ... well, I would if I had kids, anyway!
