I'm moving up in the world!!!

I am just SOOOO excited and I wanted to tell my GC family about it all!!
I am really active in politics here in Michigan and I am already the president of my college democrats chapter at EMU, but yesterday I was elected by the chapters present at our convention to be the President of College Democrats of Michigan!!!! That means that I am in charge of ALL of the college democrats chapters in Michigan. I help act as the bridge btwn chapters and from school chapters to the elected officials here in Michigan. I already have to meet with the Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party!!
I am just so happy b/c a lot of people have told me that they hoped I would be President and that they have faith in my abilities as President. I was even at an event today and the head of all Michigan House campaigns told me that he wouldn't want anyone else in that position, esp with this being such a big campaign year in Michigan. And to think that a year ago I was still considering going into teaching government in high schools and now I will be helping create history one day!!
I am still really nervous and scared b/c it's so big, but I think I am going to do well, esp with a great E board under me!!
Im sorry to ramble and toot my own horn, but I am just really excited and I wanted to share it with my sisters!!!
