Individual histories.
Does your chapter have any interesting history behind it? (I'm sure it does, this is more just my question of what)
The Delta Theta chapter has a few interesting things I can share here. We started out at Lombard college, not Knox college. And we started out at the local level--as Delta Theta. But were taken in by Sigma Nu, and granted Delta Theta as our chapter designation, even though that is out of order. When Lombard college shut down, We merged into Knox College, against the will of many of the college's admin, with the help of some of the otehrs on campus. I'm still doing research to find out if we took over Delta Theta when we started at lombard, or in 1832 when we merged with knox college.
We've moved around a lot from house to house. Many having problems. Some of our main moves involved comming to the knox area of town, from lombard. Later, we moved again because of a house fire(afterwhich, we took over a dormant fraternity house from a chapter that had been shut down--the chapter our current college president was a part of).
There are some other things, in our histories(which are in shambles at the moment. I'm organizing them in full this summer), which I can share at a later date when I can piece them all together.
