"Can anyone explain in Tom talk what need to do?"
Upon finding this thread, I immediatly made it my job to help President Earp however I could. Explaining it in Tom talk is easier said than done, and I decided that it would indeed take me all day to prepare to explain something in Tom talk. So I called in sick to work this morning and immediatly began drinking, heavily. The following is my humble attempt at Earpdom....
"woijhwoijfrawv mowjef womcomoe poi eoajoijreoij mojj tingle my dingle kiowijfoiwje chaisaw computer ojaoijewfojeawo"
Hahaha just messing with you pres. I run into this on my computer at home, and here in the office all the time. It usually occurs because I have exhausted my comps RAM at some point in the day. At home, if I run CAD and possibly a Office program, and shut them down, then try to get on the web, its no go. I can hook up with AOL, but not visit any pages. Same thing applies here at the office. If I run AIM here, and it crashes, then you can bet the farm that I will be able to link to my companys homepage, but thats as far as I get to go. I fix it by shutting down the computers, and restarting them. This always solves it. I dont know if this will work in your case, but I hope it does. Like I said, im computer illiterate but I've had similar problems.....
Are you on dialup or dsl? Are all the computers dialing out of one line or do you have seperate lines for each?
I would have paid money to see you running around your house trying to get a computer to let you on the net. I bet you were cussing and pounding wine and throwing stuff..........

...maybe try reinstalling your web browser? There's been a lot of good changes since Netscape 3.0. j/k.

President Tom,
If Billy's first suggestion doesn't work, you go out and buy a chain saw...
Just kidding. If it doesn't work, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) probably has an "800" help number. Call them and they will walk you through how to empty your cache -- which is basically what Billy is accomplishing. They can also tell you how to give more memory to the program, or autoclear the cache more often.
Assuming, of course, that it is a memory problem.
Good luck,

Delt, notice my subliminal insertion of chainsaw in my earlier post. Seems like now a days, I can work a chainsaw into any given scenerio.
Tom, also, I dont think that emailing your ISP is really a hot idea. I would really try to contact them by phone, or perhaps just stop by their office if they are in your hometown. But IMHO, emailing them and explaining your problem probably isnt gonna get you much help.

Billy,
Yeah, at first I thought that paragraph was just gibberish -- then, after my post, I noticed the subtle chainsaw and tingle my dingle references.
Funny stuff.

Hi Tom!
I don't know what is wrong with your computer, but you might want to set up some monthly to weekly maintenence programs to help keep things running smoothly! Run your disk clean, or disk defragmentor every now and then...it'll free up space.
If you're using Windows you should be able to click on "my computer" and then see a fold with Scheduled Tasks.
