Strategic Plan for the Fall Semester
It's almost that time to head back to school. What's your "plan" for the new semester? Have you thought about it?
sidenote: Whenever there is a plan and it doesn't align with the MAJOR plan, it usually doesn't happen... oh well! It still doesn't hurt to try.
Even though I'm not enrolled in school. My plan is to: read, read, read, read, read, read, read and read.

I'm glad someone else thinks of fall as a time for change. I guess the "new school year" mentality has stuck with me through adulthood too.
Well, this fall, LORD willing, has a lot of changes in store. This year, the goal will be more personal than anything else.

Hopefully I will have a job! The parish where I teach is a madhouse! Besides that, I will be in school continuing to pursue my certification and I will start working towards my B.S. in Pharmacy. I will also be trying to kick my volunteering into overdrive. I'll be BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!

My new plan is to try NOT to have the maximum number of absences in every class. It's not a good feeling to have 2 1/2 months left in the semester and know you can't be absent even once, lol.

Giiiiiiirl you read my mind.
Also with me being in a new state away from everything that is familiar, I plan to involve myself more from outside of my home. I have been going out, often alone which IMO takes hella courage but I am enjoying it on some level.
As a teacher who will be teaching in a school that is brand new for all participants, I want to do all that I can to be a SUCCESSFUl, EFFECTIVE teacher.
I do plan to not be on the internet so much ESPECIALLY when in class. That was such a bad habit to start, yall. Pray for me.
I just had to read WHO MOVED MY CHEESE for school and I want to be a better embracer of change and help my students see how change helps move you forward. Moving to NC like I did is an example of how this change while it has some disadvantages or setbacks, will ultimately benefit me by moving me out of the stagnant mentality that I had trapped myself in.
I ultimately plan to rededicate myself to the sorority with physical and financial involvement.

1) I plan to start the new semester with a *good* attitude, and surround myself with supportive people.
2) Take the GRE, and apply to grad school.
3) Finish my BA and (hopefully) BS at the end of Fall semester.
4) Be of more service to all mankind....this is my prsonal promise to my chapter.

My plan for the fall semester
Go to class almost everyday (I feel you Sweetest Diva, by January I already reached the maximum of absences. I'm going to try to spread it out this time)
Keep my grades high (I'm hoping for another 4.0 year)
Study for the LSAT and GMAT and do well on both

ME TOO!! This is going to be a busy semster because I REALLY want to get into a PhD program at a good school so my applications have to be good and I need a good GRE score. I also plan to do well in my classes and remain active in my various organizations and activities.

Somebody else that is feeling you. I STILL do that, this summer semester I was at my 2nd absence in my American Lit class (you can only have 3) and for the past two weeks I've had to go (mind you, this is a 8:00 a.m. class!). WHY.
My new plan is to focus more on my remaining classes. Because I was not focused in my freshman/sophomore year, I'm paying for it now (BIG TIME) in my Senior year. While my major/minor GPA's are great (3.0ish each) my overall GPA is not so good. So I'm already working on that. It's a verrrryyy slow climb upward.
I also want to start researching where I'd like to teach and whether or not I'd like to pursue another undergraduate degree. I minored in Sociology and I took a real interest in it. However I'm also looking into Education again. I want to teach English but I'd also like to teach something Social Study-ish.
Also since this is my last year at my collegiate chapter of GSS, I want to have as much fun as possible!!
