My chapter is cuurently facilitating the rebuilding of two undergrad chapters until they reach minimum standards on campus. One is thriving the other is not. What seems to be working for us is this:
Communication is the key! the chapters are running their own chapter operations but are opligated to attend our a certain number of our meetings and be involved in our activities. We have at least one member of the chapter or an advisor. at their functions and they are giving reports of the events and activities the chapter is doing.
Since everything is on the table and out in the open, no one has to suspect any shady stuff. and as a result more freedom to produce occurs. They are encouraging our presence and we encourage theirs.
There has got to be some cooperation in the place of animosity between chapters. Kappa Alpha Psi is an Undergraduate based frat and any self respecting Bruh is not going to cut the tree off at its roots. However, the Grad bruhs need to know you can be relied on the run the chapter properly. Though our motives differ, We all want KAPPA to survive. However, consistently inactive chapters and lawsuits for injuries and deaths as a result of hazing will destroy the frat as quickly as admitting inadaquate brothers. if not more so.
