I haven't read it yet , but I'm wondering if you know about a book written by a black lady that deals with women's perception of themselves according to the texture of their hair. I can't remember the title, but it's a green hardback book with a lady on the front. I don't believe it's called Nappy Hair, but it's somewhere along that line. Help me PPPPPLLLLLLLEeeeeeeeeease

Their are two books that you could be talking about
1) Nappily Ever After by: Trisha R. Thomas
2) Hair Story by: Ayana Byrd & Lori L. Tharps
both of which are available at BLACK EXPRESSIONS on-line bookstore.

I Read the book. I thought it was pretty good.....It did not focus on any real sorority issues other than the sisterhood that the women shard but overall it was a well written story with Drama, suprizes and some stuff I was like WTF *like at the sorority dinner reunion and someone showed up with someone they should have not*

Yeah I pretty much enjoyed the book also. I must admit I bought the book expecting one thing and it turned out to be something totally different.
