Question Why

Why are they mixing TV with Movies for Youth Actor/Actress?

II. YOUTH ACTOR / ACTRESS
#6 - Outstanding Youth Actor/Actress
AARON MEEKS "Soul Food"
ASHLEY MONIQUE CLARK "The Hughleys"
KYLA PRATT "Dr. Doolittle 2"
MARCUS T. PAULK "Moesha"
RAVEN-SYMONE "Dr. Doolittle 2"

They could very well do movie seperately from TV.

TV
Aaron Meeks
Kyla Pratt
Marcus Paulk
Bernie Mac kids
Little Boy who plays Dr. Benton's son

Movies
Kyla Pratt
Raven Symone
whoever else?

Oh Soror you hadn't heard? I've moved to Utah. Between Boris, Chris T., Mario Van Peebles, and Ginuwine I couldn't decide. So we decided to give polygamy a try.

Everyone has their daily duties.

Okay, I didn't get to see the beginning of it. So all I can do is comment on what I DID get to see. Okay here we go.

THE GOOD:

1. Chris Tucker. He WAS looking mighty fine.
2. Was Destiny's Child there? Boy, I'm SO glad that I missed them.
3. The progam was done in taste (it started on time and went off on time). I liked that.

THE BAD and THE UGLY:

1. Now why did Master P and Lil' Romeo come up there with those "twin" outfits on. Now I could see them dressing alike. But why is it that one of the Richest rappers in the USA---an African American male who is listed in FORBES--and his son CONSTANTLY wearing outfits that look as if they got their clothes from a FLEA MARKET? I mean, REALLY!!!. You just couldn't tell me that their outfits did not look like they were made of pure PLASTIC. What's up with that?

2. Al Green and his GOLDEN suit. I love ya Al. But you coulda gone with another color.

3. Sean Combs/Puff Daddy/P. Diddy (and any OTHER name that he's called nowadays. Why is he even showing up as a presenter at these awards shows?

4. Indie.Arie not winning one single award...AGAIN. That's a shame.

5. And oh my goodness, how could I forget Little Richard and his JACKED UP CROUCH? His pants were so far up in his "AREA", that it looked as if he had to go to the bathroom. Little Richard, Little Richard!!!! PLEEEEZZZZ check yourself BEFORE you accept any more awards in front of a crowd.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!!

No they were not there and while I was glad they had some babes on stage singing sTAR SPANGLED BANNER that made me put my WTF face on big time. I would have rather have had DC sing it. Basically it seemed like NO BLACK performer was CAPABLE of singing the S S B.

The awards were mighty good overall. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Chris Tucker. He is TOO funny! I enjoy the fact that WHENEVER you see him, he's FUNNY! He rarely has an off moment. So madd kudos to him. And YES, he was looking mighty fine up there!

My fav moments....
Ok, I liked the star spangled banner performance but who were those girls? I didn't hear their name announced.

Chris and Stevie's "duet" ...that was too cute!

I was very happy for Angela Bassett for winning. She is a great actress...glad she got some props for that.

Take 6 (although they were Take 5 at the moment ) and India's performance was great.

Ok, what is the girl's name from The Steve Harvey's show? I can't think of her real name but it's Lavita (sp?), Ceddy's wife. I thought her dress was TOO cute! And wasn't she just soooo adorable when she accepted her award?!

My ultimate fav moment: Chris Tucker's impression of Bill Clinton was HILARIOUS! I was dying! I was amazed at how much he sounded like Bill....too funny!

Now, the not so fav moments:
Mo'nique's chest......can we say "EWWWW"? What is up w/ that? Isn't that uncomfortable? I mean, that's just gotta feel weird. Patti Labelle had that same issue going on at the Grammys.

Little Richard's pants....I was embarrassed for him. But can ya'll believe he's going to be 70!? Daaaannng! I mean, I figured he was up there in age, but wow!

And I agree w/ everyone on the Master P thing. I am so mad they let that man go up there and present. But not only did they do that, but they let "Mini-me" go up there with him Master P just annoys me. I mean, I'm happy that you are successful and all, but get a stylist! Get something! ugh!

Overall, I thought they put on a good show.

Master P may be a skilled "bidnesman," but he lacks any degree of taste and real style. It puzzles me that more than a few black people who have worked their butts off and earned their wealth feel the need to act like ghettofied clowns?

Little Richard is just a steaming hot hunk of mess and has been for 40-plus years When I read your post, I was ROFLMP&GBO and thinking ""Tutti frutti aw rootie. A womp bomp baba luba a womp bam boom..."

So that is what the lyrics look like. You know not to be funny but he musta been on some serious stuff to come up with that "hook".
