Christmas Games
What are some games that your family plays when they get together for Christmas?
This Christmas my family will be down in Myrtle Beach. Since none of us live down there I was gonna plan some things to do for Thursday, Friday and Saturday so that folks would have an option rather than just watching TV. I have 7 aunts and uncles and their respective spouses, 23 first cousins, 13 second cousins and other folks that will be coming during those days.
One year we played some game where if you answered a family trivia question correctly you got to select a gift from a pile. Somehow there was a twist where someone could switch their gift with yours.
We've also played Bingo and given out some general gifts that way as well.
I was thinking about doing an auction or something this year. I'd ask my relatives to bring items that we could "regift". I'd give people some "money", among other things, as prizes for the other games we play on Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday hold the auction.
I was just wondering what are some other games that your family may play that I could use on Thursday and Friday.

Bid Whist, Spades, dominoes, chicken foot, monopoly. We used to play pictionary but things got a little to rowdy one year.

Well, when I was young..I mean way young, my family would always go visit other relatives in the area or far away. My sister and I would count how many christmas lights were on our side of the window. It was a lot of fun, sometimes we cheated, but we always had fun.

It's a game that you play with dominoes. It's hard for me to explain because the fam just let me start playing at Thanksgiving.

My brother and I played a similiar game, but whoever saw a house with Christmas lights would just yell it outloud. Whoever had the most won, but it got predictable when we were going to the store and taking the same way back, then it was whoever was faster. I had forgot all about that
