I hope this isn't out of line; I posted this on the Sigma Kappa message board, but I thought maybe some of you wonderful women (and guys!) from other GLOs out there might want to help too -- if not, no problem! But I know there are some of you who will, and this is the best way I can think of to reach everyone.
Our ABC (Advisory Board Chairman), Jennifer Morris, is engaged and getting married this year (yay Jen!). She is a wonderful girl and deserves the best wedding on earth! A local news station here is having a contest and will provide a HUGE, gorgeous wedding to the couple who wins, everything paid for, and Jen and El are finalists. The winner is decided through website votes, and our whole chapter is voting online to help her out. I thought maybe a few more of you out there might like to help her! Jen was a traveling consultant, I believe, last year; she was working for Nationals and was featured in the Triangle. She's beautiful and wonderful and we all love her very much; she deserves to have the most beautiful wedding ever! I'm posting the e-mail she sent us with the information so you can see it. Please take a minute and go to the site -- it's just one click!
Greek love to all of you!
Lauren
HEY SIGMA KAPPA GIRLS!
Some of you have already heard the news, but I need all of your help!
My fiance, El, and I have been selected as finalists in Channel 3's dream wedding contest (some of you may have heard about it or seen it on TV). The Channel 3 Today Show will have us on the air this Wednesday, 2/20, at 6:20 and again at 6:45 live for the contest. Two other couples are finalists.
You can help by voting for us beginning Wednesday at
www.wrcbtv.com. Click on the "Forever Begins Today" link and our names will be there. We REALLY REALLY REALLY want to win -- it's a $32,000 wedding!!! Internet votes decide the winners. Vote from as many screen names/computers as you can before next Monday, 2/24.
We really appreciate your help! I'll see y'all at chapter tonight to answer questions, etc.
Please tell friends/parents/boys/etc. who might want to help us out!!
Thanks again!
Love in the Dove,
Jennifer Morris, your advisory board chairman
