Hello
I have been lurking here for a few days taking it all in. I did not rush in my college days so this is all new to me.
I have a daughter who is currently rushing at OK State. Wednesday and Thursday were round 1. Today is Round 2, philanthropy day. I will not know how many invites she received for today until later tonight but I know she got at least 1, as she didn't get the dreaded phone call of being released.

She was reluctant to rush in the first place because she had a stereotype in her head of sorority girls. She is having the time of her life and SO much fun. She hasn't told me that I am right yet

but that is ok. To see her so pumped and happy at the end of each day was great (since we are 5 hours away).
She is keeping a real open mind about all of the houses. She came home Wednesday and Thursday after round 1, bursting how much she loved so and so, and this one, and that one. Only three did she know were probably not a fit for her, though she ranked them to maximize her options.
She has her favorites of coarse thus far but is open to the others as well as she goes through this process each day.
We get a nightly update email from Panhellenic with helpful things to discuss with our daughters but I also find this sight extremely helpful.
