Theta Chi Chapter in danger
Hi ladies, I've rumors through my zeta connections at gmu (your theta chi chapter), that if the chapter doesnt get something like 23 girls in the next year they're going to lose their charter. Apparently IHQ came down to talk with them and they're going to be running recruitment for them for the spring.
I absolutely adore the ZTA ladies on campus,we hang out with them all the time, and while admittedly they aren't known as the "hot sorority" they are some of the best girls you can meet. Is there anything I or my brothers can do to help recruitment or do anything? I know for a fact that the "silent sorority aproval vote" of girls works wonders for fraternity rushing, does it work both ways?
Seriously, what are they looking at?

The best thing you can do if there is indeed a problem (I'm not on national council, so I don't know the situation) is to recommend women to the Zetas for membership and be very supportive of the ZTA recruitment effort on campus and offer to help them out in whatever way your chapter can.
All of the Zetas on GC appreciate your concern and kind words!

If you know any girls who are non-greek and would like to get involved, recommend Zeta. The word of mouth is very powerful! Show your support by wearing Zeta shirts around the time they are doing their Spring recruitment. Thank you so much for your concern! It great to know that you care so much for our Theta Chi sisters!

GMUTeke, thank you so much for your sweet words and genuine concern! I would echo Barbara and ZTAngel - just be supportive and 'talk them up', so to speak. Word of mouth helps a lot, and the ZTA's will be really happy to hear good things people have said come back to them!

Yes, it is true that our chapter numbers are dwindling. We did ask IO to help us with recruitment this year and we are grateful to have them. Whoever the TKE is that posted that message, thanks. We really appreciate any support you and your brothers would like to give us.
ZLAM to all my lovely Zeta sisters!

I'm glad you posted, Melissa! Let us know if there's anything we can do - provide new ideas, a sounding board, or an internet support group. Whatever you need, we're here. Good luck and keep us posted!
