Checked UWO's website and couldn't find a mention of Greek life at all.

Isn't Greek life at Canadian schools often unrecognized?
Meanwhile, according to The Wiki:
There are currently five nationally chartered sorority houses: Alpha Phi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Pi Beta Phi. There are also nine fraternities: Alpha Epsilon Pi, Delta Upsilon, the Kappa Alpha Society, Pi Kappa Alpha, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Chi, Pi Lambda Phi and Phi Delta Phi. Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) established a colony Spring 2009. The Greek system is active on campus as well as throughout the city of London, through numerous philanthropy events and special events at local bars and clubs. Hey, they have one of the 8 actve chapters of Kappa Alpha Society.

Nope, we're definitely recognized at my school. I've met Alpha Gams from UWO, great girls!

Thanks for the responses.
I checked out the UWO websites... there's some interesting stuff there.
But I have a heard a lot of negative things (only geeks join, rich preppy kids, "paying for friends").
Any truth to these rumours at UWO?

Probably some small truths among a lot of people who don't know what they're talking about. Those are pretty common rumors (in different combinations) at a lot of schools.
Best bet is to go through recruitment and meet them yourself.
