Congratualations Senator Daschle!!!!!!
I know it's late news, but fellow Alpha Phi Omega brother, Sen. Tom Daschle (D-So. Dakota), was named the new Senate Majority Leader recently. As a fellow brother and Democrat, I am extremely happy for him attaining this position, where he can truly shine and exemplify our Cardinal Principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service!

I don't think I've ever met a Lambda Chi who is not a Republican, other than the ones you just mentioned. Long live the Democrats! Congrats on becoming a moderator Pirate00!

I won't jump on you, KSig... I like Dole, too. If he'd loosened up a little earlier, he might've been president!

I think Senator Bob Dole is the only Republican I like, but only for his personality. I agree with you on the Prez thing dzrose93. He was pretty funny on SNL and that Pepsi commercial. He can have a sense of humor when he wants to.

Helloooooo AXO honey! How was the beach? I'm glad that you were able to put up with your in-laws!
One could say that I've been "raised" Democrat. When your step-brother has been in office as Lt. Governor and now Governor, one can't help but be involved . Hawaii's been a strong supporter of the Democratic party since statehood, and as far as I know, we've never had a Republican from Hawaii hold office in Congress.
During our teachers/professors' strike, I was questioning my 1998 vote for governor. At that time, I had actually wished that I had voted Republican...but shh, don't tell my idiot step-brother that.

Oh Hell, come on all of you Political Nutsoids! I was a DEM. They told me how to vote, I changed to Rep. I do not care what party they are in, they are all in sheeps clothing but wolves!
NO MATTER who is running I vote for the best candidate.
I also vote against any incumbent as lets get a new crook in so it takes a while to be a crook then vote him out!
There has not been any Great Pres. since Harry Truman, I knew him not all that well but Bess's choclates were horribal!
Being in politacs is a business and do not forget it! there is money on Capitol Hill or they damn sure would not stay as long!
Granted most of the Heads of Companies, politicians and others who run things are Greeks and College Alums.
John Lampe, Firestone, is taking a lot of heat!
As a SX and a gradutae of PSU, KS, I give him credit for standing up when they were and are taking the big heat.
Remember people, we are the ones who really get out and do the running because of the training we have learned in OUR RESPECTIVE GREEK ORGANIZATIONS!
I will raise H with the best of you and win as I have been doing it longer! But NO matter what WE ARE THE GROUP!

While Barbara Boxer, fine D Phi E alum may be a democrat, Senator Daschle as the majority leader is quite the step down for the senate. I say we go back to the guy who stepped down at the impeachment hearings. Who was he???
