Question Curious

I was curious as to what you think about an alumnae chapter putting on an undergraduate mip process.

Huh...???

This happens frequently...what's your point? How do you expect us to feel?

I'm sure the women who come through MIP that way are HAPPY as clams that someone was there to bring them in...cuz now they are Deltas!

What do you mean by "putting on?" There are circumstances that will call for an alumnae chapter to conduct the mip for an undergraduate chapter. Since ther is no difference in the process whether one is initiated through an undergraduatre chapter or an alumnae chapter it should make no difference.

Why do you ask?

If it didn't happen collegiate chapters would never get chartered or reactivated. Even when the collegiate chapter is active, but their numbers are small, alumnae sorors may be called in to assist with intake - I like the idea that the young women see that there is longevity in Delta, not just intake with their peers. But I don't like the fact that you know absolutely nothing about the women beyond the application, rush and interview and quite honeslty there are some women that I might not have accepted had I known them, but that's just me.
