Miss USA 2004

It turns out the Miss USA pageant will be televised live from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood (thanks goes out to Polarpi who posted this on the MSN ADPi board). Anyways, Brianna is so thinking if she can somehow wrangle some money or some sympathy from her parents (with money) that she should go. He he.
Here is the information, ticket prices and all.

Trump and there will be a DJ and food and drinks served. This event will not be held at the Kodak Theatre, it will take place at the Avalon. I'm so thinking that even if sisters can't afford to go the regular telecast, go to the Dress Rehearsal where it's 10 bucks. Make signs, scream 'Go Kelsey'. Hell, if it were me I would be overwhelmed (in a good way) of the support that my sisters, sisters I wouldn't even know, are giving me.

As for the telecast, yeah I'm thinking Mezzanine 2 for 37 bucks.

I wonder if we could get group tickets if enough sisters wanted to go? We would be considered a group.

Well I just got off the phone with ticketmaster. A group is 15 or more and they receive a discount. I have a toll free number but I'm sure no one will be around until Monday.

Just wanted to share this news and get people's reactions to it.

How fun!!! I probably would've gone, but I'll be preparing for my trip up to San Francisco that following Wednesday (the 14th), and I have class on the 12th

Honey, have a great time seeing Mr. Honey and Kate....she's a wonderful person to hang around with!

Hi ladies, sorry to crash your board...but if you have the time, even if it's for the dress rehearsal...by all means...GO!

The ticket prices (with the exception of the Orchestra & Parterre but usually those already bought up by family of contestants) are fairly reasonable. When Miss Universe came to my campus arena in 1998, I was able to attend the show...and it was worth it!

I'm sure it'll be worth it regardless...anything to cheer a sister on!

Good luck and have fun!

It's times like this I wish I lived on the Left Coast! Alas, I can't go, but I'll be cheering her on anyway!

Someone should contact the Alumnae Association for that area to encourage collegiate and alumnae support for the events.

So the Miss USA website has now added a 'close up' on each of the contestants. It is a video (via quicktime or something like that) and the contestants tell a little about their favorite things.

Kelsey is just too adorable.

Already love the girl. One of the questions was who would she pick as her leading man in a movie she choose......

Ben Affleck (Good choice Sister!!!!!)

Second choice was George Clooney.

Yesterday On Air Live with Ryan Seacrest had all the Miss USA delegates on the stage with him, and I didn't see Kelsey, but she could've been behind another lady, and anyways, Ryan was talking to the outgoing Miss USA most of what I saw anyways. Also, she (outgoing Miss USA) was proposed to on the air with all the girls and Ryan watching as her boyfriend got down on one knee

So because the pageant is on Monday, the TV Guide channel is doing a 'special' on the pageant. Of course I was just channel surfing but then I see this and the first thought is "Oh please show Kelsey". So even though I don't really need to know what is on (that is what channel surfing is for ) I am hoping they will show Miss Ohio.
