After conducting investigations into the hazing allegations made in early October, the international headquarters of Beta Theta Pi has made the decision to disband the UW chapter.
UW Interfraternity Council President Tyler Nesbitt said Beta Theta Pi international headquarters has not yet issued an official statement, making it premature to outline any specific course of action.
“Our understanding at the moment is that the chapter has been disbanded, but their charter has not been removed,” he said.
