Oh, the answer I was longing for..................

After a long 10 months, squabbles with my ex-chapter, and knock-down-dragouts on GC , I have just been informed that my name HAS been sent to nationals. I don't know how, I didn't pay my initiation fees, which was the main reason why I left, because I was not working that semester. The good news, because I am considered a life member, active or not, if I would to transfer to a school with a ZTA chapter, I can join w/out rushing. Eventhough I doubt that I will at this point.

I would just like to share that, since this was once a topic of BIG controversy.

If you are not in good financial standing with the Fraternity, you cannot attend or participate in any official functions of any Zeta Tau Alpha Chapter nor may you join any local alumnae or collegiate chapter until such time as your financial obligations are resolved. However, if your former collegiate chapter has placed a judicial restriction on your membership, even if you became current on your financial obligations, you would still not be allowed to join or participate in any ZTA chapter or event - ever. The Fraternity maintains a list of names of those people that are permanently barred from membership/participation.

Question if you did not pay your initiation dues were you actually initiated? As in did you go through the process?
