In the middle by jimmy eat world
some smash mouth
some DMX such as party up, ruff ryders, ruff ryders dj clue remix, who we be
some jay-z such as can i get a?, big pimpin, girls, girls, girls, Izzo(H.O.V.A.)
um...Eminiem i guess
make sure you put them in order so they get more hardcore as the night goes on, and then start to relax a little, and at the end play slow songs so people can hook up to them.

I am def. in agreement about Jimmy eat World's "in the middle", but instead of necessarily all the rap (I do like rap) how bout some trance or club music? You do want this to be a dance party I assume, try Darude "sandstorm" or Ian VanDahl "castles in the sky" these will get the party pumpin.....

Absolutely necessary for any party:
Lights, Camera, Action by Mr. Cheeks
Where the Party At -- Jagged Edge
We Thuggin' -- Fat Joe & R Kelly
Plus some Ludacris and Nelly, maybe some classic Snoop Dogg (Gin & Juice)...and Video by India.Arie for some good girl power...

There's a radio station in Orlando that plays a lot of great songs - the website has streaming so you can listen if your internet connection is quick enough. They also have a link that lists the title and artist for the songs they've played in the last 48 hours or so. Great to listen along then get the name so you can download the song.
Not that I'm suggesting that anyone pirate music or anything. Um, yeah...
The link is www.953party.com
Just as a few suggestions - these are a few songs that have been getting some rotation on 95.3 lately...
Darude - Sandstorm
China Dolls - I Know How to Love You
Rockell - What U Did 2 Me
Terra Skye - Is This Love
Sylver - Turn The Tide
Silverblue - Do You Know
Ian Van Dahl - Will I
Gigi D'Agostino - I'll Fly With You
Miss Jane - It's A Fine Day
Fiori - If I
Kosheen - Hide U
Toya - I Do
I have all these songs and more if you want to PM me I can email them to you. One of my roommates is a certified computer geek and has hooked us up with a blazingly fast internet connection, so I can email these kind of files very quickly.
Have fun at your party!

So howd it go?
Well I hope.
At work I usually listen to www.live365.com. GREAT internet radio site. If you have a good system and good speakers, just turn it on and let some yahoo somewhere else be your DJ.
