Hah! I wonder how they convinced the celebs later in the list to flash the signs without any of the ladies present.

Since Theta Phi Alpha wasn't represented in the list, I'll just leave this here.

It wouldn't be hard for Luke Bryan - his wife's an ADPi, and he does have the song Sorority Girl!

Sorority Girl

Not sure what you mean, but ours is the Diamond, from 1851. I know that it's been used since the late 1960s.

Why is Chuck Norris doing the Alpha Chi Omega sign, instead of Delta Delta Delta??

Turncoat!

To the great distress of many Thetas, the finger sideways across the mouth is supposed to be a Theta sign

And the girls are making a kite shape around him.

I've seen Alpha Phis hold the index finger vertical across the open mouth to look like a "Phi".

Unfortunate and unattractive, all around.

While I agree that calling pledges babies is obnoxious, I think HQs need to take some of the diatribing they're doing on that and transfer it to this hand sign ridiculousness.

A popular Theta hand sign that I've seen is actually the ASL sign for vagina, and I don't the girls doing the sign are aware of that.

Theta

ASL

I don't mean to use one sorority as a specific example, but I kept seeing girls on my campus do it this year and it made me cringe every time.

The Kardashian one slays me. Kourtney should know better since didn't she go to ASU? Khloe's is so wrong it's hilarious.

And the Phi Sig flashing the sign that AOII and SK use. I feel like all three groups need to get together and come to an understanding. New signs all the way around if needed.

[Old lady voice] In my day and on my campus, most groups had signs. A couple sisters and I were constantly trying to figure out how to make a Sigma. It never occurred to us to do the heart/dove/triangle thing. Which I count as a serious fail on my part.

Pi Phi and Kappa were the only other groups that didn't have "go to" moves at the time.

I can't tell is this is actually ours or the same as the 2nd picture on the link (with the Chase Rise background).
On one hand, I'm such a HP fanatic that I'm pumped at the idea of it being TPA, but on the other hand, it's Draco Malfoy.... and you know. . Slytherins aren't worthy of repping TPA.

I recognized most of the symbols but the one I just referenced is unfamiliar to me.

Incidentally, I looked at those pics again and except for Khloe and Chuck F'ing Norris, I have no clue who any of those "celebrities" are.
