Agree with Sen. Work your network. You likely do know women from the organization (or are one degree of separation away); you just don't know who they are. Investigate your school teachers, dance and music teachers, coaches, parents' friends, friends' parents, friends' siblings, siblings' friends, church members, fellow volunteers, coworkers, and so forth. If you know anyone who was close to the lady who passed away, talk to them, especially because they may be sympathetic. Also, be highly aware that members of one group -- male and female -- know members of other groups.
Also, because there's an element of subtlety that is critical, look closely for clues that might not be immediately obvious. People that I've known for years often have no idea I'm in a greek organization until they suddenly notice the inconspicuous, faded, scratched-up, 16-year-old AKA keychain that I've carried the whole time I've known them.
