Getting into a NPHC sorority
Hello I'm Rose,
I have a simple question that has probably been asked a thousand times and I apologize in advance. All the threads that I read we're similar to my question, but didn't quite answer it so I figured what's the harm in asking myself. I am currently finishing my freshman year at a private university in Texas and plan on transferring to a public university. I dream of joining a very specific BGLO and have done everything possible to put myself in a position to be a good candidate. I have a 4.0 GPA over 1000 service hours and I hold two leadership positions in organizations that I am in now.y biggest concern is that I am from a very small town in Texas and do not personally know any women from the sorority in which I want to join. The one member I knew, who was a mentor second mother and confidant to me passed unexpectedly in January. She was the reason I wanted to join this organization and becoming a member I feel would honor her better than anything else I could think of. But before I start crying let me get to my question. How can I get in the position to meet members who are eligible to write my letter. Because I am transferring I will not be rushing this following semester. If you have any advice I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
