Talking Pick your favorite!

Hello all!
I've been reading and posting in other forums about favorite childhood memories, what about childhood songs. Now to make it real tough, try to pick just two. Your favorite party song and slow jam. It's sort of like your all-time favorite songs. I'll start it off.

slow- "Right and a wrong way" by Keith Sweat
fast- let me get back to you on that!

I still love Keith Sweat's "Make it last 4ever" but my favorites are:

slow - One in a million
fast - Ain't my type of hype (full force)

okay, i've thought about it and took an office poll. i've decided on "let the music play" by shannon. I love disco music. Yes, I said it! Even though song is post-disco, it has a disco feel to me.

I forgot to mention earlier- BET will be airing the Top 100 "old school" videos all next week!

I have to agree, "Right and a Wrong Way" by Keith Sweat is ONE of my all time favorites. I have so many favorite songs, I can go on and on. But I'll leave it at that one. I have to think about fast songs.

When I was little, my brother and I used to love the song "Pass the Dutch-e on the Left Hand Side" by the Double Dutch Bunch. Does anyone remember that? (I know i butchered the spellings! ) That used to be our jam!!!

Cool

slow: WAAAAAY too many, but "If I Was Your Girlfriend" by Prince is my heart- NO one can talk during that song. I love just about any jam by His Royal Badness, though, including "Adore."

fast: "Got to Give it Up" by Marvin Gaye. My dad made sure EVERYONE in the house loved that song when I was a child, played it almost every day!

Man, I HATE limiting myself.. too many jams out there... LOL

Okay sorors and sf, I will try my best. As far as slow I would have to say just about anything from the IBs(Isley Brothers). My mother used to play these as her ole school songs at card parties! As far as fast, I really can't think of anything right off hand, but I could go on and on about slow jams since I am a very mellow type person. DeBarge is another ole school group that I could listen to all of the time. Guess that's it.

As you can see I have so Many until I can't narrow it down, by the way, has anyone been watching BET's Top 100 old school Jams all this week? They have been playing videos from Rockwells' "Somebody's Watching Me (feat. M.J.), "Stay with me tonight Jeffery Osborne, Lost in Emotion, Lisa Lisa, ect. They are down to the last 50 songs, and I have been recording all of my favorites, because some of the songs that they have been playing are classics!
