Recruitment question FSU.
ey everyone I hope someone can answer this for me!
Ok so I am going to be at TCC as a freshman (Tallahassee community college) but I was also accepted to do part time at FSU or be a transient student.
My question is.
Since I will be taking classes at FSU, even if my main school is TCC (for now I will be switching to FSU) can I rush?
My friend who is also goes to TCC was a transient student and was able to rush and join a sorority at FSU and apart of ZTA. So is that true as well?
I looked it up and it said people attending or taking classes at FSU could rush. But does that mean part time or transient?
What are my chances?
I am very friendly and social. If I don’t like someone it’s only because they don’t talk at all nor try and I do. I was a past cheerleader, current pageant girl, have a good GPA 3.7 am very involved in my community and won many awards and met and know well known people.
The only difference between me and another freshman is my high school years I was home schooled because I was into sports, traveled and was an actor/model. Does coming from a regular school make a difference?
I can get recommendation letters since I know a good number of woman who went and graduated from FSU was apart of a chapter. Should I do that?
Also how does informal rush work? I will be part time or transient spring of 2015.
I am very excited, and if I can rush and join a house that would make me even more happy since I was sad I could not go right into a bigger school even if I got in (I had a health problem as was advised to start small since I am still recovering) and I am fine with it seems to be the better choice for me anyway. I just always wanted to join a sorority and I know you only can at a university and its better your freshman year.
