Alpha Gams that Scrap?

Hey Ladies,
I know that scrapbooking has been around for years but I'm always late to the party and just discovered that I really like it.

Right now I am scrapbooking my dog but I really want to do a sorority book. Unfortunately I can't seem to find much Alpha Gamma Delta scrapbook stuff... or for that matter much greek or sorority related items. I know that there are albums out there, but I'm looking for the stickers and letters and stuff. Does anyone have any good websites or stores with greek scrapbooking items?

I know that Mai has stamps but I'm not a big stamper... I just don't have the room nor the funds to get into that craft.

Thanks! Arin

Too bad the Rose Garden isn't still around, they had a scrapbook kit so the other sites may too. Go to Shop AGD on the IHQ site and do a search.

Marissa (squirelly girl) loves to scrapbook. I bet she will have tons of leads on where to find something Alpha Gam-ish for you!

Hey Lynn and Maria, Happy Holidays to you both! Lynn, I looked at all the IHQ sites, plus a few of the other sorority websites and there isn't much out there. There is one company that IHQ has listed that plans on making AGD stuff in the future but hasn't yet.

There just isn't much greek or sorority scrapbook items out there. Which really surprises me because I would think that this would be a great market.

I am sure that I have seen AGD scrapbooking kits on eBay before. I did a search and found someone who is selling kits for other NPCs (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZsimplyscraps1QQhtZ-1), perhaps she could get a hold of an Alpha Gam kit for you?

i've seen several scapbooking kits on ebay also. however, if there is a good scrapbooking store in your area i'd look there. also, if you happen to be in a college town that has a chapter, a scrapbook store in one of those locations is typically a good place to start looking also.

Well you would think that all that would be true, about the scrapbook stores and all but we only have one left here in Lexington and they don't have anything greek related. With Lexington being a BIG GREEK community one would think that there would be more options but no not anymore. As I mentioned earlier, I'm normally late to the party.

As to ebay, I have been avoiding that option. But I guess that will be my only other option. The good thing is that I have a lot of other books to do first (wedding, new house, family) so I have sometime to look.

If I do write to you all anymore, Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish Sisters, Merry Christmas to my Christian Sisters, and Happy Holidays to all my Sisters who don't fall into either group. May the New Year find great Love, great Laughs and Great Memories to each and everyone of you all!

Loyally,
Arin

I recently discovered scrapbooking in the last month, too. I've been collecting stuff to scrap forever, but didn't finally sit down to work on anything until recently. I LOVE it!!!! First project was a small scrapbook for my friend (and Alpha Gam) as a going away gift. While the book was full of Alpha Gams and our little legacies, I went for a Hawaii theme for her pages (hawaiian print papers and flowers) partly because there really isn't much out there for sorority scrapbooking.

Hmmm.... perhaps Malia and I should expand our stamping business out now that we're both totally hooked on both hobbies...

Besides my stamps, one thing I do have is a few sheets of greek letter stickers that I bought a couple of years ago from a Creative Memories consultant. They were discontinuing them at the time, so I imagine they're no longer available in the catalog, but you may ask around to see if any CM consultants kept some in their inventory.

Be sure to share if you find any other sources. I'm far from working on my Alpha Gam/college years books as I've got to get working on Arwen's books (and the ones for her grandparents.) Then there's the wedding, vacations, ...

There is a company that is greek licensed called Two Fish Concepts. They have alpha gam stuff coming but it isn't on the website yet. You can check out the other sororities till then. I'll update once they email me about their stuff.

I want to find the companies that do die cuts for other sororities... that is what we are missing the most.
