I've always wanted to join a sorority. My cousin, a graduate of Mississippi State, was a Chi Omega. She thinks that pledging would be good for me, but I don't know how to convince my parents that joining is worth the money. Any advice?
Another good resource might be the Greek life page for your university. Most provide information on grades, housing, and philanthropy activities for the chapters on campus. Some even give an estimate or average cost for first semester (usually more expensive) and future semesters.
Sorority membership is a lifetime commitment.
