Some thoughts on this New Year's Eve
Dear Sisters,
As I sit and write this, I'm sure y'all are celebrating the New Year with your loved ones. Right now in Hawaii we've got 8 more hours until we can officially kiss 2001 goodbye.
I've never thought of myself as a person of many words, so writing this is kind of difficult.
Many of you know that 2001's been a tough year for me. I just wanted to take the time again to thank you all for the cards, the PMs, the emails of support. Most of all, thank you so much for being my sisters. I can tell you this much...it was the love of my sisters that got me through the horrible times. I am so grateful that I can count on people like you, and now that things are looking better for me..I just wanted to say thanks again.
I sincerely hope that 2002 is a better year for all of us. May we all find happiness and prosperity in everything we do and continue to live out the ideals set forth in our Purpose.
2002 will be a year of beginnings for me as I continue my membership at an alumna level. The ladies of my Junior Circle and Alumnae Chapter have already welcomed me with open loving arms and I can't wait to work with them more!
Tonight at the stroke of midnight I'm going to have the honor of lighting the 100,000 firecrackers...and I'll be sure to think of all my AGD sisters far and near. I wish you all luck and success for the upcoming year!
Loyally in EII,
Sandy
