Furman Recruitment?

Hello. I'm attending Furman University next fall and am interested in going through recruitment - in the spring when they have it. I was wondering if it was a school where you "need" recommendations. I know they're recommended always, I was just wondering if at a small school that's not sec if they were make-or-break.
I'm from the North and I only know one girl who "needed" recommendations, and she went to Bama - the rest of my friends in sororities barely knew what they were.

I know our chapter always contacts me for help in finding recommendations. You'll be ahead if you get them.

Even though Furman is one of the smallest (enrollment) Division I-A schools, recommendations can only help.

If you were interviewing for a job and knew someone in that company, would you NOT ask them for a referral???

When in doubt ... get recs!
