Women in Florida swallows $5,000 diamond!

I just read an article about an 80 yr old in Florida who accidentally swallows a real valuable diamond. There was a contest at the club or event she was at where they put 399 fake diamonds and one real on in glasses of champagne and she drank the whole glass without realizing it!!

The best or worst part of the story was that she had the diamond recovered during a colonoscopy, then proceeded to take the diamond (still in the bio hazard bag, uncleaned) to the jewelers to be tested!

Gross....but I laughed!!

Oh my.....I wonder if this was at a retirement home? If so, who's bright idea it was to put objects in the old dears champagne glasses?
