I am currently attending spring rush at my campus. My target house held a rush informational, along with all the other houses. I noticed that there appear to be a ton of people visiting the chapter house and hanging around the rush table. So I would assume I would be having quite a competition for a bid this semester.
I'm wondering if I need to tell the fraternity brothers that I am interested in potentially pledging to them or no? I heard from the rush chair that around the end of rush, they would notify the rushees who expressed interest to pledge to the fraternity (so I assume they would know who want to pledge or not already).
Does going to rush events mean you are definitely interested in possibly pledging or do I need to tell a brother sometime before they hand out bids that I am interested in pledging their house?
You do need to talk to a couple of the brothers. Ask questions about the chapter and their national. Being interested in the chapter will let them know you are interested.
