Need help with paddle
Hi, I知 new to the forums and am looking for help with a paddle. I知 a second semester freshman and am now making a paddle for my new girlfriend. I致e only known her for a month and a half and have only been officially dating for a few days. I agreed to make it before we started dating... I知 in ΣΝ and she痴 in AΦ. I知 not a creative person and have never made a paddle before so any ideas and tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

My tip is NO. NO. NO.
You've only known her that long and you've been dating for 2.5 days and you're making her a paddle? Not only do many groups frown on paddles in general, I can't imagine that either group would be thrilled about a paddle with both sets of letters on (that is what I assume you're proposing) for such a new relationship.
And THEN I read the part about you "agreed to make it before you started dating." If this is something she asked you to do, get out of this relationship FAST. Unless, of course, you're into that sort of thing.

If your user name says anything about you, you can be identified.
I suggest you...RUN! FOREST RUN!!!
Just say NO to this!
A few days! Hell, what's next marriage in a month?
I know, it's so REAL!

Is this something like lavaliering or pinning? I've never heard of a boyfriend making their girlfriend a paddle.

I exchanged paddles a few times with fraternity men, but they were close friends who had done certain sorority-type things that are no longer allowed.

We have a pinboard for that.
We do not, however, have a pinboard to advise on whether you need to be doing this.

I have one paddle made for me by an extremely good guy friend who was in a fraternity but it doesn't have his letters, just shows off his talents with wood carving. I feel like you should probably be thinking a little more about why you're making this and what, if any, implications it has on your relationship.
