Hi, VSUPhi Mu! I'm not a Phi Mu but my daughter is strongly considering VSU for the fall of '02--she's been approached about an art scholarship. Your campus is beautiful!
An Alpha Gam and a Zeta from Valdosta also post here--

VSU really is a good school. Even though I'm transfering in the fall, I love the school and the people here. I don't know much about the art department, but I'm sure she would like the town and everything else here!

Hey VSUPhiMu,
I'm a Phi Mu at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw Georgia! When did you go through? I love being a Phi Mu, it was the best decision I ever made! Tell me about yourself? Do you hold any positions? I'll talk to you later!!!

My sister is thinking of rushing Phi Mu at Johns Hopkins. What is the reputation of that sorority on that particular campus? I've heard that it's kind of the jock girl sorority...but don't want to make judgements *shrug*
Thanks girls!

Every campus is different. I don't know anything about Johns Hopkins, but Phi Mu is a really strong chapter on my campus. The morals and traditions of Phi Mu promote unity and strong bonds in our sisterhood. I think that a lot of girls have bettered themselves by becoming Phi Mus. However, I do think your sister should go into rush with an open mind. I didn't when I went through, but I know that I ended up where I belong. Each girl needs to make the decision on her own and not by what she thinks is the most popular or coolest house. It's different everywhere you go. Nationally, though, I think Phi Mu has a really good reputation of being a strong sorority.
I love my Phi Mu sisters!!

Well every campus is different, and on my campus we are noted as being the most down to earth and sweetest girls on campus. I just recently went to state day for Florida and i met the other chapters in Florida, and found that they are just as sweet, and nice as all my sisters from back home. I am so glad that i went Phi Mu, all the ideals and all the traditions that are found within Phi Mu are things that i strongly belive in. I have found the stongest sisterhood within Phi Mu and many other things that have only strengthed my love for it. If your sister is rushing then it truly is her descion to make. Every campus is different and has their own girl, but that is what makes it so special, that we can all be unique and different and still share a common bond. Good Luck to your sister, i hope she is truly happy anywhere she decides to go
