On December 30, 1872, Alice "Allie" Cary Simonds was born in Iowa Falls, IA, and moved to AR as a child with her parents and her sister, Helen. They settled in Fayetteville AR. Although her given name was Alice, she was always called Allie.
Allie was a Founder of Chi Omega at the University of Arkansas.
