"Keeping Up Appearances"

I came upon this show a couple of weeks ago on BBC, "Keeping Up Appearances". It is really funny. Has anyone else seen this show? It comes on PBS sometimes.

I'm an official addict! I absolutely love the show, from Onslow's bacon butties to Emmet's "She'll sing at me!!!"

Hyacinth is so pretentious, it's wonderful!

I am an ardent enthusiast (a.k.a: freak) for British shows. I LOVE them- especially this one. I want to go buy the DVDs.

Ms. MysticCat are now completely unable to say "brochure" without mimicking Hyacinth's blabbering about "holiday brochures."

I used to watch this show when I was growing up. "Watch the pedestrian!!!!!!" is a running joke in my family.

OMG!! I used to watch this when I was younger with my dad, who was into all those British comedies ("Are you Being Served?" was a fave as well!)

I loved Rose and Hyacinth's husband!!!!

Onslow, a lovable, perpetually unemployed slob, was married to Hyacinth's sister Daisy, who adored him despite all his faults.

Hyacinth had two other sisters. Sexy, man-eater Rose lived with Onslow and Daisy.

A seldom seen but wealthy sister, Rose, had a "Mercedes, sauna, and room for a pony," as Hyacinth loved to tell anyone who would listen.

Hell-ooooo, the BOOO-KAY residence. The lady of the house speaking.

Loved ya, Onslow!
