Hey guys, I'm a junior who wants to rush at UNT. I really don't know anything about the greek life there. I transferred in last year as a sophomore, but I moved in late and missed the first few days of recruitment. I am really nervous and don't know what to expect because I am an upperclassman. Is it unusual to have juniors rush and are I less likely to receive a bid?
It is not unusual for juniors to go through at UNT. Just keep a very open mind. The chapters there are all very nice. I have heard they are expecting a large number of pmn's this fall. You might want to line up recs for the houses!
I've heard that most of the girls who go all the way through recruitment and really try end up with a bid. Some friends that go there say that if a girl is dropped, it's probably because of bad grades.
I'm not sure how friendly/unfriendly the process is for upperclassmen at UNT, though.
