Hello Everyone!
Hi I'm a transfer student, so next semester will be my first at a university. I would very much like to rush this upcoming year, because being Greek seems like the best way to meet neew people and get involved. I don't know which sorority I want to join, but the good news is that my university's greek life is small. Can't wait to find out which sorority is right for me!.Well that's all I have to say for now, have a nice day!

You shouldn't put out which sorority you like the best because then other houses will most likely drop you thinking you will only pledge that house. Be careful what you put out there.

Those who are not yet Greek themselves should refrain from offering advice. This is especially true for those who are still in high school.

While this is true, her advice to be discreet and not let every thought that enters your head come out your mouth is good advice anyway.

Again I was just trying to be helpful and relay information that I've been told by my mother, friends, and just around. Even though I am not Greek yet doesn't mean I don't know anything. It is actually more helpful for your peers to give you advice and tips rather than others because your peers are going through the same thing that you are going through therefore can be more of a support than someone who isn't in the same boat. There is know need to be rude or hostile. Also remeber that you are always wearing your letters.

It's actually more helpful for people who have GONE through what you are aspiring to go through to give advice.
And @ always wearing your letters.

You can definitely give advice to PNMs.. But based on YOUR experiences, not what others have gone through. If you want to tell another PNM how you're preparing for recruitment conversations, or where you obtained your recs, that's fine.. Feel free to help them all you want. But when you start talking about what sisters are expecting (especially without prefacing it by saying you're not a sorority member), that's a whole different ballgame. Because even if you give good advice 99% of the time, giving a PNM bad/incorrect advice just that one time could be detrimental to their recruitment.
And you'll find yourself making enemies here REAL fast.

You haven't even experienced senior year or even applying for colleges yet. You aren't her peer. You're not going through the same thing she's going through.

I'm preparing for my finals and I am continuing my sports, job, and volunteer job. Maybe sorority girls aren't what my mom says or maybe it's you wanna be ones??? Because last time I check sorority woman were classy and nice and respectful not nasty and tear people down at the first chance they have. If you all are so knowledgeable then use it in a useful way. You are grown woman.

What did you say your name was again? I just want to make sure you don't end up suffering with a bid from my chapter full of wanna be sorority girls who are nasty and disrespectful and tear people down at the first chance. Roll Tide.
