Ladies, In you opinion
Before anyone goes any further, I did a search and this specific topic did not come up. Somme people touched on it during other posts but not directly. So...
What is your favorite/best working shampoo and why?

Ha!
Funny, Karen, I was just thinking about all the haircare threads that were active over the summer.
I'm a cheapo girl, so I never buy salon shampoo. Just the way I am-I figure that it is all 99.8% the same stuff anyway, and I'd rather save my money.
My current favorite is TreSemme's Hydrology for Dry & Damaged hair. Talk about silky! My hair had gotten nasty and dry as a result of some botched highlights (don't ask me how it happened-the same place I've gone for highlights since Sophomore year in HS!), and this has returned it to its natural, fluffysoft state. I highly reccommend it to anyone.

I can tell the difference between my hair if I use salon stuff and drugstore stuff - so I stick to my salon formulas.
I love love love Biolage!! I think its the greatest thing in haircare, lol
I use Biolage Hydrating Shampoo - I getmy hair highlighted and I use a blowdryer so it restores the loss moisture in my hair and totally leaves it healthier.
For conditioner I use the Conditioning balm - they smell great - and it leaves my hair super soft and shiny
If you need a deep conditioner - I totally suggest the HydroActive Hair Masque - leave it on for 10 minutes once a week and your hair will be transformed - I swear!

My expensive stuff or rather salon stuff is Motions anything is great, hair is always shinny and smooth. Sometimes optimum but very rarely, cause I dunno, it works well was just never found of it.Also pantene, is good I think too

Well...I must say, when I shampoo my hair, I use two different shampoos. My hair is naturally curly, but must be weird because I cant use anything with conditioner in it - or else it looks like I poured crisco oil all over my hair.
So for the first wash I use head & shoulders "refresh" - I am all about the tingle it gives my scalp
For the second wash I used Paul Mitchell. I never never use pantene anymore because it makes my hair fall out (no lie!)

I really am ALL about fragrance! I buy salon shampoo occasionally, but mostly I like to rotate shampoos and experiment. My hair looks just as shiny using Suave as it does using anything my stylist gives me!
I LOVE Tresemme for the fragrance and BIG bottles (I go through shampoo like you wouldn't believe!!)
I also like Clairol Daily Defense.

I use the daily defense too, but normally I use Scruples O2 line.. it smells awesome and can be used as a body wash too!! I also like Bed Head's Mega Vitamin... it smells like oranges or tangerines or something.. yummy! And I have curly/dry hair so I have to have conditioner. Oh..... as for other hair care products, try Potion #9 by Sebastian... i put it my hair and it immediately softens it, and it can be used by fine hair all the way up to thick hair. 1/2 my sisters and I use it and we all swear by it. No frizzies! and it detangles.

Biolage - Me three!
I have absolutely loved the Biolage shampoo and conditioner I began using this semester. It was only $10 a bottle; but it lasts so long and I can tell the difference between drug store shampoos and what I now use.

I'll use just about anything, as long as it's not tested on animals and contains no animal ingredients. Right now, I use Nature's Gate Original Herbal Shampoo, and it smells SO yummy and makes my hair feel nice and soft. I love Paul Mitchell stuff as well -- The Detangler is AWESOME!

I know this is going to sound like a commercial...
Now, I use Motions brand EVERYTHING!! But before, I used Suave Strawberry shampoo and conditioner. It is the cheapest, but let me tell you, my hair had SO much body, and always looked SO healthy!!! It's not the best for damaged hair, I don't think, so after a rather unpleasant experience, I've started using my salon brand, Motions.
Are we doing conditioners, too? Mane & Tail is AWESOME!!! I used to think, they use it on horses, I'm not using that mess!! But it really is a good conditioner, and it's leave in!

I use Herbal Essences for color treated hair. It does a good enough job. I've never used anything that's made me say "wow' one way or the other, so I just stick with the Herbal Essences

Biolage is definitly worth the price!! I have a special formula that my stylist*if thats what you wanna call her* gives me b/c I have such fine hair that it's always falling flat and I need a good shampoo and conditioner so that It will hold a curl and stuff and Biolage has definitly worked wonders on my hair!!
