Post Fundraising Question

Hey all, I'm the treasurer at the newly established Boston City colony of ZBT. I've got a question concerning fundraising and where that money generated should go to. It's my belief that it should all go straight to charity and our philanthropy budget but some of the brothers disagree with that and believe it should also go to daily activities of the colony. What do you all think?

I think it depends on what you are fundraising for and if the donors know that event x is for raising money for breast cancer, while event y is for raising money for the chapter?

You can't do a bait and switch at the last minute, but there's nothing wrong with running an event to raise money for yourselves. You just might find that you don't get as great a response from the community
