If you read farther down the article, it says it happens fairly often there. Rather strange.
My heart goes out to the loved ones of those lost. And here's to hoping that the two who survived pull through.

So very horrible.  I will be driving right past the spot of this tragedy tomorrow morning and will be praying for them and their families.
An elderly person driving the wrong way down any road is not that unusual. My grandmother just gave up her driving privileges last week due to the same reason. She went the wrong way down a one way street, and was cited a few weeks ago. Couple that with her diagnosis of alzheimer's on Monday, my mom and grandpa and an aunt had a sit down with her and she gave up the keys to her car (to my mom).

So sorry to hear of this tragedy. Mere words will not console their families and sisters nor properly express my deepest condolences to all who are affected.

I read it here first before the U of West Ga Greek Life posted on their FB page.
Truly sad for the family and Alpha Xi Delta.
Unfortunately, too many families and organizations have to go through senseless tragedies.
